All About me

My name is Miriam, i am 14 years old, and this is my first blog. I live in California and am a middle schooler, on my way to high school. I am the youngest of my family, but I am more on the only child side since my siblings moved out when i was young. My hobbies consist of theater and binge watching netflix, as of this moment my three favorite shows are Greys anatomy, Criminal Minds, and The 100. I don’t have any pets but I really want a dog or a hamster. I also love to go to olive garden, because why not?

Hello World! In today’s blog we are going to be talking about a social media platform called TikTok. Now most of  you may know what that is, because if you don’t you probably live under a rock. If you don’t then you’ve probably heard of musical.ly. Musical.ly was an app that was bought by a different company and then they renamed it and called it TikTok. This is where you can make any type of video to your liking as long as you follow the community guide lines. Anyone from the ages of 12/13 or up can make an account and post a video. If many people find you amusing/funny (something that pleases the people) you will eventually go viral. Like Charlie D’amelio, she went viral for doing her version of the renegade,but recently this girl came out that she invented the renegade and it caused all this drama. Charlie was a good sport and even collabed with her and the girl ended up going on the Ellen Show. I find it so cool that any random person can go viral for making one video.
